Calling or texting is free. If you have Medi-Cal, we can help get your visits and medication covered.
Most patients get started the same day they call. Timing can depend on pharmacy availability in your area, but our care team will work with you to find the fastest option.
No. Tell us honestly where you are — that's what helps us treat you correctly.
No. Akido is not an inpatient or residential program, and there's no clinic to visit. You'll connect with a licensed provider by phone or video to get started, and if they prescribe medication, you'll pick it up at your local pharmacy.
With fentanyl, that's a real risk — and it's one of the most important things we manage. Starting Suboxone too soon can cause a sudden and severe worsening of symptoms. Our clinicians guide the timing of your first dose specifically to reduce that risk. We walk you through it step by step.
Your care is private. We follow strict privacy laws that protect your treatment records. We don't share your information without your permission.
